Mission
Mission statement: GCNTDR facilitates the coordination, training and dissemination of NTD research, prioritising the advancement of research and the strengthening of national capacities globally to support achievement of the targets set out in the global 2021–2030 NTD roadmap, published by the World Health Organization.
Objectives

Deliver evidence-based technical support to strengthen national NTD programmes and surveillance.

Build capacity across all career levels to maximise impact in NTDs.

Align multi-sector partnerships across NTD roadmap priorities, including One Health.

Serve as a central knowledge hub for evidence-based policy and programme guidance.

Act as a neutral platform to coordinate partner efforts across prevention, control, elimination, and eradication.

Prioritise community-driven research (e.g. spatial epidemiology, transmission dynamics, low-cost diagnostics, surveillance, morbidity profiling).

Embed a One Health approach across all research and capacity-building.

The Global Centre for NTD Research is hosted by the Royal Veterinary College, University of London.
